Last week, Team thinkivity stepped into the FIT Show for the first time, what an unforgettable experience it was.
We arrived on Monday afternoon, full of excitement and armed with Elton’s meticulously measured plans. It’s fair to say that if he wasn’t proud of his measurements before, he certainly is now and rightly so! Thanks to his forward planning, we constructed two vibrant display panels for our stand. Calling them “panels” feels like an understatement, though. They were nothing short of a riot of colour. Among a sea of stands, ours stood out instantly. People couldn’t help but stop and ask, “What is this all about?”. This was exactly the reaction we hoped for.
Tuesday marked the official start of the show, and it became clear very quickly that just Angela and I wouldn’t be enough to handle the buzz we were generating. Thankfully, Ralph arrived early in the afternoon and, without hesitation, jumped right into action. While Elton and I are the familiar faces of thinkivity, both Ralph and Angela absolutely shone, engaging with a stream of industry professionals and showcasing just how versatile and collaborative our team can be.
The FIT Show itself was incredibly well-organised. From the logistics to the support behind the scenes, everything ran like clockwork, the sense of community was strong. We were lucky with our neighbours too. On one side, Glazerite wowed attendees with a sleek stand and some exciting new products. On the other side was DoorCo, who brought the energy (and the size!) of a stand that could only be described as a brilliant monster. Our Turkish friends located behind us made sure we were kept in a supply of some amazing sweet treats and our lovely Kolorseal neighbour Deb, another trailblazer shaking up the industry and a love of giraffes. Exactly the kind of connection that makes the FIT Show so special.
By the time Wednesday rolled around, we were feeling surprisingly fresh, this was a good thing, the day quickly turned into a party! The exhibitors who decided to party went above and beyond to inject fun into the experience. From cocktails to live music, the atmosphere felt like a celebration of the whole industry. I even found myself perfecting my pint-pulling technique, one of many unexpected highlights!
Thursday brought a slower pace, with many of us feeling a little jaded from the night before. But somehow, the energy returned and kept flowing. We continued to have meaningful conversations and ended the day with a lovely interaction with installation company that I have always enjoyed partnering with. Perfect full-circle moment that captured the true value of the show: connections, old and new.
Once the stand was dismantled and we were back home, Friday was a chance to take stock of everything we’d achieved. And I have to say: I’m incredibly proud.
✅ Proud of how far thinkivity has come in such a short time.
✅ Proud of the way our team pulled together.
✅ Proud that our presence turned heads, opened conversations, and started people thinking about the real, practical impact AI can have on the glazing industry.
But more than anything, I’m excited. Excited to keep sharing, teaching, learning and helping businesses unlock the power of AI in ways that truly make a difference.
The one thing I would do differently, remember to take a team photo! Annoyingly, it was an oversight, in keeping with thinkivity style, the power AI came to the rescue and generated an image of the 3 amigos, celebrating the success that I was lucky enough to share with Angela and Ralph.
To everyone who stopped by, shared a smile, asked a question, or even just paused to look at our stand THANK YOU!. You helped make our first FIT Show one to remember. And if you missed us, don’t worry…

We’ll be back — bigger, bolder, and just as colourful. Watch this space.
