In true AI fashion, everything feels like it’s changing in the blink of an eye.
One minute you’re exploring a challenge, and the next, a new update lands and shifts the goalposts completely. This week was a perfect example. What would have taken our customers hours, maybe days to work through with their LLMs (e.g. ChatGPT) was suddenly achievable in less than 30 minutes. Why? Because of OpenAI’s latest update introducing background agents. It meant more automation, less fuss, and tasks getting done without the need for complex workflows.
That shift gave me real food for thought. What felt like a big challenge last week suddenly became manageable. To help our community, I put together a video to show how I approached it, and ironically, the content creation took longer than the task itself, so I got AI to do that too!
But there’s something important here: with AI, there’s always noise. New tools, fresh headlines, rapid-fire developments. And that noise can be deafening if you let it. It’s so easy to get distracted, chasing shiny new features rather than focusing on what’s actually needed.
That’s why the GlazePro AI community is so important. Our community members help anchor our direction. When we spend time focusing on their needs, what they’re trying to solve, what frustrates them, what excites them, that’s when we really get it right. Their feedback is our compass. This is why we opened a survey for business to tell us their approach and take on AI. Haven’t done this yet? Follow this link

It’s also what makes our weekly sessions so energising. Hearing things like “this is only my third week, I’ve already learned so much” is music to our ears. The willingness to help one another is real, no egos, just good people wanting to support each other. Sure, there’s always a bit of healthy local competition, but GlazePro AI creates space for like-minded businesses to thrive together. People lower their guard. They’re honest about what they’re finding hard. And in return, they get a support system that lifts them up.
The best part? We celebrate every win, no matter how small.
There’s still this broader question floating around: “Is AI just a fad?” I think we’re past that now. More and more people are not just exploring AI, they’re using it. Often the starting point is writing emails, and that’s a brilliant step. It builds confidence and shows tangible benefits early on.
But the challenge is how to make that output yours. How do you avoid sounding like everyone else? How do you keep it from becoming just another generic LLM response?
Did you know your LLM is so much more than something to help construct emails?
That’s where collaboration comes in. We work with members to help shape their prompts, to refine their thinking, and to challenge patterns. One person might think their input is good enough, then another perspective takes it to a whole new level. It’s these small refinements that unlock real value.
On a personal note, I’ve been working closely with a family member this week, and it’s been so refreshing. They’re not from the glazing industry, but they’ve been looking at websites from businesses in our space and spotting things that most of us wouldn’t. It’s been a reminder of how much I’ve learned… and how much there still is to learn. Seeing flaws in expensive websites that aren’t delivering, through the eyes of someone new to the industry, is humbling and motivating all at once.
And that’s the truth about AI and this journey we’re on. There’s no perfect route, no tidy checklist. It’s messy, fast-moving, and at times overwhelming. But it’s also full of possibility. With the right support, a good dose of curiosity, and a community that celebrates your growth, you can go further than you imagined. We’re not just keeping up with change anymore, we’re leading it. And that’s a great place to be.
